Image

1934, Freiberg, Germany // Swiss-German

Ingeborg Lüscher is a German/Swiss actress, photographer, painter and sculptor. Her work has been shown since the late sixties, during a group show in Kunsthaus Munich, Germany. From the 1980's Lüscher has become fascinated with Sulfur, due to its intense yellow color and the luminous material. Often she would combine objects or forms of sulfur with black forms or objects.

In the 1990's Lüscher made works in which the colors black and are used for their formal combination, shown in forms reminiscent of her earlier sculpture and paintings.
